The Time Machine offers a microphone preamp with overdriv and a mode selector of diferent eras of compression. Making it easy to dial in a sweet 50's,60's,70's or 80's style compressor. All of this is fitted in a small guitar pedal enclosure and is powered by either a 9v battery or your guitars 9v power supply!
