the LOFI mode is where it's at

this thing is more complex than one might think at first. My favorite is the LOFI mode. This thing can change the frequency response DRASTICALLY using the Input knob. so if it's turned up all the way it's nice and bright and if you back it off it becomes warm and cozy, back it up some more and it gets brighter again. The other modes are hit and miss depending on the input source, most of them are a little too dirty imo... at least on dense stuff like full mixes. (same with the camel strip, I feel like the 1176 mode on there is like the LOFI mode on here). Why still 5 stars.... because the LOFI mode is that good.

Owl Control is not for those who like to endlessly tweak a boatload of mechanical parameters that nobody really understands. Nope. It's for people who want quick, simple, versatile vibe. And isn't that what music is about... the vibe? Owl Control is all about the vibe. Just enough control, nothing unnecessary. I think I'll be using it a lot!
