10/10! There are fundamental plugins, like an LA2A, 1176, H-Delay, ssl channel strips, Renaissance eq’s, Lexicon…etc. All of them necessary. But then there are unique plugins that really add to your “production” aspects… like retro color, sound toys, or even drip. Usually when I get something “unique,” especially inexpensive plugins, it’s hard to find situations I can use it. A lot of weird stuff out there. These are sounds that I’m in love with though. I wish I could go back and remix a bunch of stuff. I’m able to get a vibe going that’s helping a specific track of my song come to life.
it may not be the most sophisticated or complete vinyl/tape emulation but it's super quick and sounds quite nice.
As a newbie in the mixing world, Safari pedals is the obvious choice. With their easy to use and attractive interfaces, they are perfect for someone like me. And 99$ for every one of them… Do I need to say more?!
As for this pedal, it’s an amazing tool for getting that warm vintage sound, whilst at the same time making something pop in the mix!
